About This Course
This course is specifically designed for front line staff come in contact with people from diverse cultures. The programme takes individuals through a process that allows them to explore and understand the importance of culture and religion in community life.

The programme will develop a level of confidence and competence to assist staff to engage in a meaningful and creative way with minority ethnic communities.

Who Should Attend?
The workshop is aimed primarily at those people who work within diverse workforce. It has been specifically designed to take into account the current demands of legislation and globalisation.

Course Overview
Learning is facilitated using experiential methods and small and large group exercises. Use of visual aides

  Exploring norms, values and beliefs of different religions and cultures
  Establishing and clarifying the needs of customers in the delivery of services
  Identifying how to provide appropriate and sensitive services
  Planning the provision of service through existing resources
  Action planning for the workplace
