About This Course
This course meets the requirements set down by OFSTED and National Standards. This course covers vital theory and practical techniques for all aspects of paediatric first aid.

Who Should Attend?
Anybody who has responsibility for children in schools, nurseries or at home.

Course Objectives
To provide a sound knowledge of the theory and delivery of all first aid procedures that may be required when dealing with children and infants. To enable students to recognise and treat some significant childhood illnesses and conditions.

Responsibilities of the First Aider	Managing incidents
Primary assessment	Secondary assessment
Resuscitation procedures – infant (0-1), child (1-7 & 7-16)	Principles of resuscitation
