An Independent View

An Alternative Perspective
At Gateway Consultancy we have considerable experience at providing an independent view on serious issues – in fact we provide a totally different perspective.

The majority of this work deals with employment issues that may lead to disciplinary procedures and this is where are expertise lies. We can help by providing a range of skills and experience that deals with professional conduct.

Who does this?
All of our consultants are highly skilled, professional consultants. In addition to their industry and subject expertise, we take great care to ensure that all of our people are fully trained and have a wide range of counselling skills.

This ensures that at all times, they can and do provide a service that deals with all possible issues in a supportive and sensitive manner.

What do we do?
Our focus-based solutions come from careful consideration of some or all of a number of areas that are relevant to the case in hand. We are careful to consider all of the issues that may result from any action taken including:

  • Correct legal procedures
  • Potential employment implications
  • Professional conduct issues
  • Legal / employment issues
  • Consideration of the current company / organisation structure

The above points are purely illustrative of a standard strategic assessment, however, there are few cases that are the same. We treat every business on it’s own merits and as ever business is different, so every solution to every problem must also be very individual.

Policy writing
From our external position, we are also able to create internal documents and our expertise in doing this enables us to creates exactly what is required, including:

  • Standard internal documents
  • Policies
  • Procedures
  • Plans

We ensure that all our work meets set criteria – both internally and externally.

Conflict Management
In addition to our main services as detailed here, we also offer a conflict management service.

We understand that sometimes when serious conflicts arise, the best thing for the situation is a fresh view. We can provide the independent angle that will really help. Our services include:

  • Full support / advice
  • Mediation
  • Conflict resolution
  • Knowledge of law
  • Provision of recommendations

Moving Forward
Rather than simply providing a quick fix, we find that most clients are happier receiving long-term support from us. We can create programmes of continual assessment, regular reviews and performance evaluation that really works – which also offers true value for money.

In addition, we can also create and maintain mentorship and advice/support programmes, all designed to ensure the continued recovery / success of the business.
